Accumulators
Accumulators are the simplest form of multiple selection bet where all the selections made by the punter have to win, in order for the bet to win. BetStars however does offer Acca Insurance on some sporting accumulators, which means that on accumulators of more than a stated number of selections, you will earn your stake back as a free bet if just one of your selections lets you down.
An accumulator is a very simple bet to understand as it is a single line bet, therefore a £10 accumulator costs £10. Your winnings are calculated based on your unit stake being bet on the first selection and when that wins, the winnings plus the stake are then bet on the second selection and so on. Hence the punter accumulates larger and larger amounts of money with every successful bet. However, all selections must win in order for your bet to win.
Accumulator bets are known by a number of different names based on the number of selections in the bet:
- Doubles – These are accumulator bets consisting of two selections only
- Trebles – An accumulator of three selections
- Fourfold and Upward Accumulators – For accumulators of four or more selections, these are defined by the number of selections followed by the term –fold to signify it is an accumulator bet. Therefore an accumulator of six selections, would be a six-fold.
Full Cover Bets
A full cover bet is different to an accumulator as it covers all the possible combinations of bet made up from your selections. These bets start at three selections and go up to eight selections on BetStars.
In these bets you not only cover the accumulator of all your selections, but also all the potential, doubles, trebles and other accumulators of four five or more selections that your selections can make. As such, there are a lot more individual lines to cover in these bets.
In order for you to generate a return on a Full Cover Bet, you need to get at least two selections from your choices to win. Any fewer than two selections winning will not earn you a return. The more of your selections that win, the greater the value of your return.
Full Cover Bets are more flexible than accumulators as you don’t need all your selections to win in order to generate a return, however conversely, they can also cost considerably more to place for the same unit stake.

Full Cover With Singles Bets
Full Cover with Singles bets are essentially the same bet as full cover bets shown above, but with each of the individual selections in the bet backed as a single selection. As such, with this bet, only 
one selection needs to win in order to generate a return, but you do have to pay a higher price to place the bet for the same unit stake.
