Declan Rice's sending off in the 49th minute altered the course of this tight game at the Emirates. Kai Havertz chip gave Arsenal the lead against a dangerous Brighton. However, it was after Rice's sending off, for foolishly kicking the ball away as Brighton tried to take a quick free kick, that turned the game on its head.
Brighton dominated from there on in and Joao Pedro brought them level on 58 minutes. Rice's red card means he will miss the Gunners next match, the North London derby against Spurs.
A double from Bryan Mbeumo and a strike from Yoane Wissa put Brentford into a 3-0 lead against a poor Southampton at the GTech Community Stadium. The Bees were excellent value for the win which keeps them hot on the heels of the top four. Southampton's goal came in the 95th minute from Yukinari Sugawara but the Saints were well-beaten here.
Sean Dyche will scarcely believe how his Everton team threw this game away. After 87 minutes, the Toffees led this match 2-0 and deservedly so. After a goalless first half, Michael Keane put Everton in front on 50 minutes and Dominic Calvert-Lewin added a second seven minutes later. Bournemouth pulled a goal back on 87 minutes through Antoine Semenyo, which set Everton jittery.
Lewis Cook levelled in the second minute of injury time for the Cherries and then incredibly, Luis Sinisterra scored a winner in the sixth minute of injury time to condemn Everton to a third defeat in three.
The spoils were shared at Portman Road as Ipswich Town recorded their first point of the season following their clash with Fulham. The Tractor Boys took the lead after just 15 minutes when Liam Delap scored, but Fulham always looked dangerous and secured a point thanks to a good finish from Adama Traore.

Leicester are still searching for their first Premier League win of the season after going down at home 2-1 to Aston Villa. The Foxes fell behind midway through the first half when Amadou Onana scored his second goal of the season on 28 minutes.
It took until the 63rd minute for Villa to grab a second. Jhon Duran, who came on just moments beforehand for Ollie Watkins, scoring a lovely second to put Villa in control. Facundo Buonanotte pulled one back for Leicester but the Foxes could not get back on terms.
Two early goals in this game saw the points shared. Wolves started very well and should have been in front in the early moments of the game. However, Forest rallied and Chris Wood scored a lovely headed goal to put them 1-0 up after just ten minutes.
However, two minutes later Jean-Ricner Bellegarde scored a beauty from 25-yards to bring Wolves level and despite chances for both teams in the second half, the game finished all-square.
The Erling Haaland show continued at the London Stadium as Manchester City's superstar striker scored a second hat-trick in two games. The Norwegian was on hand to take Bernardo Silva's pass to slot home the opener after just ten minutes. However nine minutes later, the Hammers equaliser. Jarrod Bowen's run and cross turned into his own net by Ruben Dias.
Just ten minutes or so later, Haaland struck again, taking Rico Lewis' pass and firing it past Areola into the roof of the net. He then wrapped things up on 83 minutes with another finish past substitute keeper Fabianski to hand City an important win.
Chelsea couldn't follow their excellent win at Wolves with a first win at home this season. The home side went in front through Nicolas Jackson on 25 minutes, but despite having 63% of possession and 13 shots on goal, they could not add to that goal.
It proved crucial as on 53 minutes, Eberechi Eze scored a sublime equaliser for Palace to earn them a point at Stamford Bridge.
Ange Postecoglou will be wondering how his Tottenham side failed to win this game against Newcastle. Apart from the very start of the game, Spurs dominated this game for long periods, but fell to two sucker-punch goals.
On 37 minutes, Newcastle broke and Harvey Barnes turned home a cross with a deft right-foot finish to put Newcastle in front. In the second half, poor goalkeeping from Nick Pope led to Brennan Johnson scuffing a shot at goal, the keeper only paddled the ball away and the on-rushing Dan Burn could only fire the ball into his own net to draw Spurs level.
Spurs pushed hard for a winner, but it was Newcastle who achieved it, Jacob Murphy's offside-beating run saw him rush through on goal and pass it to Alexander Isak to slot home to hand Newcastle a somewhat fortunate win.
It was Double Dutch at Old Trafford as Erik Ten Hag faced off against Arne Slot, but it was Slot that hit the jackpot as his team emerged with a comprehensive 3-0 victory. After a good start by the home team, Liverpool got on top and scored an opener with a lovely header from Luis Diaz from a chipped cross by Mo Salah.
Just before half time, the duo combined again, Salah slotting the ball into Diaz who finished with his right foot, first time, into the bottom corner. Salah was on hand to smash home Liverpool's third in the second half. The Reds also had a goal disallowed and dominated the game in what was a sharp wake up call for United.
Premier League Monday Fact of the Week – Everton set an unwanted record in the Premier League becoming the only team to be leading 2-0 after 87 minutes, to go on and lose the game.
