2025/26 Premier League Fixtures Release

All 380 Premier League fixtures for the 2025/26 season were announced at 9 am BST in mid-June, providing fans with their first glimpse of the upcoming campaign.

The season kicks off on Friday, 15 August 2025 at Anfield with Liverpool hosting Bournemouth in what promises to be an entertaining curtain-raiser.

The fixture release follows a familiar pattern, with weekend matches typically scheduled to start at 15:00 UK time and midweek fixtures beginning at 19:45. However, fans should note that while the dates are confirmed, kick-off times remain subject to change throughout the season due to television selection and European competition commitments.

A significant advancement for supporters is the availability of a digital calendar featuring real-time fixture updates throughout the season. This sync functionality allows fans to automatically receive notifications about any scheduling changes, ensuring they never miss important updates about their club’s matches from the season start to its end in May.

The season begins on 15 August 2025. There are then games on Saturday 16, Sunday 17 and Monday 18 that will comprise the full opening weekend of fixtures.

The final weekend of fixtures will be on the weekend of Sunday 24th May 2026. Every game will kick off at the same time (4 pm) on this date. After this, the season will be at an end.

The full list of games for the new campaign in the EPL is outlined below. These are league fixture dates only, no FA Cup, League Cup or European fixtures are included.

Broadcasting and Schedule Considerations

Premier League Fixtures 2025/26 broadcasts

Manchester City and Chelsea face an unusually challenging start to the season, with just two weeks of pre-season preparation following their potential involvement in the Club World Cup final on 13 July. This compressed timeline presents significant challenges for fitness management and early-season performance.

Clubs participating in international competitions typically receive scheduling considerations for early fixtures, but this year’s condensed calendar means minimal preparation time. This situation could potentially impact early results and requires careful squad rotation from affected managers.

Television scheduling continues to play a crucial role in Premier League fixtures, with broadcasters maintaining influence over match times to optimise peak viewing windows both domestically and internationally.

While in December, Festive and New Year matches may be moved for broadcast purposes, the traditional festive fixture list will be maintained.

The English Football League (EFL) has announced plans to offer full-streamed fixtures in December on or around Boxing Day, reflecting broader trends in digital consumption and the evolving broadcasting landscape that complements Premier League coverage.

Planning Your Premier League Season

With the complete fixture list now available, fans can begin planning their Premier League experience for the 2025/26 campaign. The digital calendar system allows supporters to sync fixtures directly to their devices, ensuring they stay updated with any scheduling changes throughout the season.

Key dates to mark in your calendar include the opening weekend festivities, the intense December fixture period, and the traditional festive matches that define English football culture.

The return of historic clubs like Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland provides additional excitement for supporters across the country.

As the weeks count down to Friday, 15 August, anticipation continues building for what promises to be another memorable Premier League season. From new stadium debuts to classic rivalry renewals, the 2025/26 fixture list offers something special for every football fan.

Mark your calendars, sync your digital fixtures, and prepare for another thrilling Premier League campaign that begins in just weeks with Liverpool welcoming Bournemouth to Anfield.
