The 2025 Cheltenham Festival takes place over four days from Tuesday 11th March through to Friday 14th March 2025.
Each day will feature seven races, for a total of 28 races across the festival. The first race each day will start at 1.20 pm, with the final race at 5.20 pm. The other five races are scheduled for 2 pm, 2.40 pm, 3.20 pm, 4 pm and 4.40 pm.
After a consultation with racegoers, jockeys, trainers, owners and organisers, the Cheltenham Festival organisers have announced a number of changes to the races for the 2025 meeting.

The Luck of the Irish will be on full display on the most raucous day of the festival, St Patrick’s Thursday. An outstanding day of racing is in store, too, including the Ryanair Chase, the Paddy Power’s Stayer’s Hurdle and the Jack Richards Novice Handicap Chase.
The Cheltenham Gold Cup is the highlight race of the final day of Cheltenham Festival 2025. However, the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle and JCB Triumph Hurdle also offer outstanding betting options and competitive racing on the final day of racing for 2025!
