What is better than checking your account to find the winnings from a bet paid into it? Well how about receiving those winnings much earlier than usual? Perhaps, even before the tournament you have bet on has been completed! If that sounds like a pipedream then it isn’t because that is precisely what bet365 Sport are offering at the moment on a number of its To Win Outright bets for a number of different soccer league competitions.
With many different countries across Europe seeing the 2020/21 season get underway over the past weekend, or the next, now is the perfect time for punters seeking to get some great value bets on this massively popular market to get their placed and this new offer means that if the team they chooses goes on to dominate the league and open up a large gap, they could have their winnings in their account much sooner than they expected!
Let’s take a closer look at how this bet365 offer works.
League Winner Early Payout Offer
Get your bets paid out early if the team you back takes a lead of 10 points or more in their league with bet365.
Applies to bets on the To Win Outright market on selected leagues up to and including the 15th October 2020. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.
How does the League Winner Early Payout Offer Work?
Simply place a bet on a team in the To Win Outright market for the following domestic league competitions across Europe:
- Premier League
- The Championship
- League One
- League Two
- Bundesliga
- Serie A
- La Liga
If the team you select has a lead of ten points or more at any point in the season after you have placed your bet, then bet365 will pay out that bet at that point, rather than waiting until the end of the season. Furthermore, even if your selection does not go on to win the league, your bet will be paid as a winner.
Last season bet365 offered this deal to customers and those that backed Liverpool were paid out on their bets on the 14th December 2019.
This offer is only available with bet365 and not available in the United States, but you can still bet on the outcome of the title races in each of the divisions above with a number of different providers depending on which state you are based in. In Pennsylvania for example, the latest BetRivers Promo Code will get you signed up with a fantastic deal in that state.
In Indiana, the same company also offers a great sign up offer to new customers but here you can use the latest BetRivers Affiliate Code “HOOSIERBONUS” to grab this bonus deal. In states like New Jersey and Nevada, the latest DraftKings Online Sportsbook offers another good deal to these customers including many different types of betting on soccer.
The history of early payout bets
Early payout bets are relatively new in the bookmaking industry and they became popular thanks to a rather amusing tale involving a big name in the UK betting industry, Fred Done. Mr Done was a Manchester United fan and when his team opened up a large lead in the Premier League in the 1997/98 season, he decided to pay out players that had bet on Manchester United to win the league, costing his company £500,000.
However, that act of generosity and Red-Devil tinted belief ended up costing him as United did not win the league that season and so he also had to pay out on the eventual winners, Arsenal. Undeterred Mr Done also paid out early in the 2011/12 season on Manchester United, a move which was once again an ill-advised one as rivals Manchester City also pipped United to the title on the final day.
What could be the best selections in each league for the League Winner Early Payout Offer?
Premier League
You may remember that last week we compiled a special preview of the Premier League Season in which we predicted Manchester City to win the league. City have not yet played a league game as they didn’t finish last season until early August and they begin their season next weekend. If you back City now, they are currently 5/6 to win the league, with Liverpool their closest rivals now at 2/1 after their 4-3 win over Leeds at the weekend.
Chances of Early Payout? – It’s hard to see any team, even City, running away with the Premier League title this season, so I’d say it’s slim, but even so, City remain the top pick to win the title, even if you have to wait to May to get your hands on the cash.
Championship, League One and League Two
In the first part of last weeks two-part article, we looked at which teams would win the Championship, League One and League Two and in that we backed Nottingham Forest (now 14/1), Sunderland (now 13/2) and Port Vale (now 12/1) to win their respective divisional titles.
Chances of Early Payout? – Probably slim. Of the three teams I picked I could possibly see only Sunderland opening up that kind of gap in what are generally three very competitive and well-matched divisions. So once again, it may a case of waiting for May to get your hands on the cash if you pick a winner in either of these three divisions.
Bundesliga
With Bayern Munich 1/7 to win the title with bet365, there is only one pick for me in this league. Sure, Dortmund and Red Bull offer a threat, but they just lack the depth of talent in their squad and the sheer consistency of the team that finished last season as the European Champions.
Chances of an Early Payout? – Entirely possible. Dortmund and Red Bull do have a tendency to drop points against lesser teams at times and Bayern Munich seem to be sweeping all before them. However, at odds pf 1/7, it is not going to be the biggest payout in the world if they do win the Bundesliga early.
Serie A
Serie A has become Juventus own plaything over the last few years and the Old Lady are once again the favourites in Serie A. However, I feel that their owners’ quest to land the Champions League with this ageing squad could cost them in Italy. Inter are improving quickly and I think at 15/8 are the best value bet here.
Chances of an Early Payout? – Probably not as good as last season as I think Juventus are on the decline due to the sheer number of older players that they have while the likes of Inter, Atalanta, Lazio and AC Milan are all making positive strides. I’d be surprised if any team opens up a 10-point gap or more this season.
La Liga
Will it be Barcelona or Real Madrid for the league title, or can another team make a claim? Not in my view, I think it will be between the top two and I think Real Madrid (4/5) are the clear pick having a settled squad and manager and relatively few issues with their squad in comparison to their Catalan opponents.
Chances of an Early Payout? – Slim, one thing tends to stop Real Madrid or Barcelona running away with a league title- each other. Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are the best of the rest, but I can’t see a bigger gap than 4 or 5 points separating the top two come the end of the season.
