Sky Bet promo

One of the lesser-known offerings at Sky Sports is Fantasy Football, with a top prize of £25,000.

To participate, start by picking your team. You can pick up to 2 teams maximum. Once selected, then choose your preferred formation: 4-5-1, 3-5-2, 5-3-2, 4-3-3, or 4-4-2. Then choose 11 of your players to place in your preferred formation, staying within your £75 million budget. Once your XI is completed, choose your Captain so you can score double the points. Then, if you’re not yet a Sky member (whether Poker, Bet, Vegas, Bingo, Super 6 or previous season’s Fantasy Football) then register all your details with Sky Sports. If you are already a Sky member you need not re-register. Once completed, your team will then be entered into all 2013 Sky Sports Fantasy Football games globally.

As a participant of Sky Sports Fantasy Football, you can even start or participate in Private Leagues with your coworkers and friends. Or you can participate in a Sky Sports Public League, if you like, and play against Sky Sports own expert pundits.

You are permitted to make transfers and captain changes within certain restrictions. You can make unlimited team changes up until the kick-off of the first Barclays Premier League match, with a limit of 30 transfers allowed per season and no more than 5 per month. To be eligible to be scored in this competition, transfers need to be completed before the earliest kick-off of that game day. Captain changes, meanwhile are permitted once per week maximum, with a week being considered from the first kick-off on Saturday to the following Friday.

Once you have a team, you’ll have access to the extensive My Team section of the Sky Sports Fantasy Football website. It includes an overview of your current team and its performance so far over the season. And it’s also where you can make transfers and pick new teams. From the Sky Sports Fantasy Football site you can also view, create, join, and manage Leagues. You can review stats like the top 3 players overall, as well as stats on all the Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders, and Strikers; plus view all other teams in this Fantasy Football season, and view the most transferred and most picked players. There’s also a bevy of leaderboards running throughout the season, including weekly, monthly and overall leaderboards, as well as a Private Leagues and Chairmans League leaderboard.
