The PDC World Darts Championship trophy is the Sid Waddell Trophy. For those of you that don’t know, Sid Waddell was arguably the most famous darts commentator of all time. Nicknamed the “Voice of Darts”, he worked across a series of networks including the BBC and Sky Sports. He died in 2012.

The last person to win the coveted Sid Waddell Trophy was Peter Wright in 2021/22.
