This summer, the newest FIFA-sanctioned football tournament will take place for the first time. The FIFA Club World Cup.

If you want to learn more about this 32-team tournament taking place in America from June through July, check out our detailed article on the FIFA Club World Cup from April 2025, when we examined the organisation and constitution of this new event as well as looking at the teams taking part and the draw for the Group Stage.

FIFA Club World Cup Betting Guide – Outright Markets

There are an outstanding range of Outright markets available for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. We have outlined some of our favourite bets in this particular range of markets.

To Win Outright

A hugely popular bet, which is available right now at bet365 Sport (as are all the markets listed here in this FIFA Club World Cup betting guide). This is simply a bet on which of the 32 teams competing in the tournament will be crowned the eventual winners on July 14th.

To Reach Final, Semi-Final or Quarter-Final

In addition to picking the winner of the tournament, you can also bet on how far any of the 32 teams will go in the tournament, either reaching the last eight (quarter-final), last four (semi-final) or be one of the two teams to contest the final.

To Win Group

The opening stage of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 features eight groups of four teams from which the top two teams will qualify. With this bet, you are selecting one of those eight groups and deciding which of the four teams in that group will finish top of the four-team table.

To Qualify from Group

Similar to the To Win Group bet, with this bet you have more flexibility as you are backing the team to finish either First or Second in their group and thus qualify for the Knockout Phase of the competition.

Group Forecast

This bet is a forecast bet where you predict which team will finish first in a group, and then which team will finish second. Once you make your selections for first and second, the odds on those selections is displayed for you to select to add to your bet slip.

FIFA Club World Cup Betting Guide – Pre-Match Markets

Full Time Result

Arguably the most popular bet on football you can make. This bet is simply a prediction of how a match will turn out. Either a home team win, a draw, or an away team win.

Correct Score

A longer odds option compared to the full time result market. With this bet you need to predict the score of the game accurately to win.

First/Last/Anytime Goalscorer

Goalscorer betting is always hugely popular and no FIFA Club World Cup betting guide would be complete without it. Personally, while the First and Last Goalscorer options offer better value odds, we always find that the flexibility offered by the Anytime Goalscorer market makes this a much better option for this type of bet.

The markets are self-explanatory with a bet on the first goalscorer, the last goalscorer, or a player to score at any point in the game.

Remember too, with the bet365 Sub On Play On offer, if your chosen goalscorer is substituted off the field, then your bet will continue with their replacement.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals

A hugely popular bet on whether there will be two goals or fewer (under) or three goals or more (over) in the match in question. You will often find bookmakers will offer other betting lines for this market such as Over/Under 0.5, 1.5, 3.5, 4.5 or even 5.5 goals with the odds for each option reflective of the likelihood of it happening.

Both Teams to Score

A very popular bet on both teams finding the net in the game, or not. This bet is often paired with Over/Under 2.5 Goals, or the Full Time Result markets for longer odds.

FIFA Club World Cup Betting Guide – In-Play Markets

Next Team to Score

As the name suggests, this is a bet In-Play on the next team scoring in a game. It doesn't matter what the score is, this bet is always settled on the next goal in the match (if there is one).

Match Goals / Alternative Match Goals

This is a popular in-play bet on whether there will be Over/Under 2.5 goals (Match Goals) in the game. Or for the Alternative Match Goals, this may offer a different Over/Under threshold, say of 3.5 goals, with different odds available to reflect that.

It is worth noting that as goals are scored in a match, these betting markets can change, be finalised or be suspended if the scoreline in the game means that the original lines for this bet is no longer viable. For example, if a game is at a 2-1 scoreline, then you won't be able to bet on the Over/Under 2.5 Goals market as that bet is already finalised.

Match Corners

There's a number of possible bets on the Match Corners market. You may find that you can bet on the number of corners in the first half, picking from a selection of options (either Over/Under a set line, or an exact number of corners). Or, you can bet on a similar market for the second half, or for the entire match.

Similarly, you may be able to break down corners into backing each team and the number of corners that they will get in the first half, second half, or the entire match.

Last Team to Score

This is a nice simple bet to follow as it is based on which of the two teams will be the last team to score a goal. Remember, even if a team is winning by a big scoreline, they could concede a late consolation to their opponents, which can make this a particularly attractive longer-odds option for those interested in in-play betting markets.

It should be noted that the bets we've listed in each section of our FIFA Club World Cup betting guide are not exhaustive. There are a wide range of other bets you can place in each of these categories on the tournament as a whole, or an individual game on it.

The ones that we have highlighted in our FIFA Club World Cup betting guide are simply the bets that we find to be the most entertaining and which offer the most enjoyment for us when we bet.

FIFA Club World Cup Betting Guide – Top Tips for Punters

To help you further, we've given you some top tips below to help you get the most from our FIFA Club World Cup Betting Guide and hopefully helping you zoom in on the bets and markets that you will have a better chance of winning!

  • Always look for bet365 Bet Boosts and Super Boosts for matches in the FIFA Club World Cup this summer. They can increase the value of your winnings if they are on a bet you would like to make.
  • Remember, you can put together several selections using the Bet Builder+ feature at bet365, or you can also make your own accumulator bet, or other multiple selection bet, from qualifying selections.
  • If you are going to bet in-play on the game, then it is advisable to check for a live stream of the match, either with your bookmaker, or from another provider (DAZN is a good place to start).
  • It is a good idea to stick with teams you know well, rather than betting on teams that you may not so familiar with. However, you can mitigate this somewhat by conducting research on teams before you place your bet.
  • Remember, Full Time Result bets are based on the score at the end of 90-minutes. In the knockout phase, drawn games are played to a conclusion, but you can still be paid out on a draw if the game goes to extra time.
  • It is perceived wisdom that the teams from Europe and South America will be amongst the strongest in the tournament and a significant number of these teams will likely make it through the group stages.

We hope our FIFA Club World Cup Betting Guide helps readers decide on which markets they should target, and how best to make their bets on this exciting new tournament! The action kicks off on Saturday 14th June and runs through to the final on Sunday 13th July 2025!
