We begin our look through the 32 teams battling for the biggest prize in the NFL this season, with the bookmakers favourites to become the next Super Bowl winners, the AFC East current champions, the Buffalo Bills.
Led by Josh Allen at quarterback and with a stellar cast on offense, defense and special teams, it is easy to see why the bookmakers are so strong on the Bills this season. Key additions in the off-season, such as Von Miller, have only strengthened that opinion.
However, the Bills have a tough start on Week One against the current Super Bowl holders, the Los Angeles Rams and we should get an inkling of just how good this team could be in that game.

Buffalo Bills – Strengths
- The Bills have a Top 5 Offense in the NFL, and a Top 5 Defense in the NFL, their special teams unit is also excellent. All-round, few teams are as well balanced throughout as the Bills in the NFL.
- Von Miller is an excellent pick up for the defense and comes just a year after a Super Bowl win as a Ram. He can inject great pace and rhythm to the Bills pass rush, which let them down against the Chiefs last season.
- Josh Allen is one of the most talented playmaking QBs in the NFL, he can carry this team to greatness with the supporting cast the Bills have assembled around him.
Buffalo Bills – Weaknesses
- Not many, apart from their defense being torched last season by the Chiefs in the playoffs, the Bills need to learn from that but it looks like they have already done so. Perhaps their only weakness is the mental belief they can win a Super Bowl after coming up short on a number of occasions.
Season Predictions & Top Betting Picks For The Buffalo Bills
- Regular Season Record Prediction – 14-3
- Playoffs? – Yes
- Super Bowl Winning Odds – 13/2
- Conference Champion Odds – 7/2
- Divisional Winner Odds – 1/2
- Best Player on Offense – Josh Allen QB
- Best Player on Defense – Von Miller RDE/OLB
- Best Rookie – Kaiir Elam CB
- Surprise Of The Season – Von Miller to come in and make a major contribution to a team that should go to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row. The Bills are the real deal.
Make no mistake, the Bills will win this division at a canter and should claim the AFC Conference too. This season is about one thing – winning the Super Bowl – Anything less should be viewed as a disappointment. This team has the talent and youth to be the main challenger to those in the AFC for the next 4-5 years.
