There’s nothing worse for a punter who bets on football to see the team they have backed go ahead in their game by a couple of goals or more, but then be pegged back and contrive to draw or even lose the game.

That is all the more keenly felt when the cash you had staked on the team, is then banked by the bookie!

Well, if you place a bet on the standard Full Time Result market on selected competitions with bet365 Sport, then you won’t ever have to worry about your team losing a two or more goal lead and you missing out on a win.

And that is thanks to the site’s popular 2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer.

What Is The 2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer?

The name of the promotion gives the game away as to what it actually is. With this offer, if you place a bet on the standard Full Time Result market of any game that takes place in one of over 80 different football competitions, and the team you backed goes two goals ahead at any point during the game, then you will be paid out as a winner, regardless of the final result.

  • How The Early Payout Offer Works

For example, let’s say that you have placed a £10 bet on a World Cup 2022 game between England and Wales and you have backed Wales to win the game in the Full Time Result market at odds of 3/1.

Let’s now imagine that early in the game, Wales take a 1-0 lead and then a few minutes later, they increase that lead to 2-0.

At this point, regardless of how many minutes has been played in the game, or what may happen thereafter, your bet on Wales is declared a winner and you would be paid out at the odds you took (a £10 stake at 3/1, would see you win £30 in winnings, plus your £10 stake money back for a total return of £40).

That return is safe even if Wales then conceded two or more goals against England and went on to draw or lose the game.

And remember, should England come back to win the game, all those customers that backed an England win in the standard Full Time Result market would also be paid out as winners too!

There are some significant terms and conditions for the offer and they are outlined below:

  • The offer is only available to new and eligible customers at bet365.
  • The offer is applicable to pre-match single and multiple bets on the standard Full Time Result markets that take place within selected competitions. (A full list of all qualifying competitions for this offer is available on the bet365 website in the terms and conditions for this offer).
  • This promotion is set to run up to and including matches taking place on the 31st December 2022.
  • In the case of Single bets, a customer will receive their returns as winning bet if the team you back is winning the game by two or more goals at any point in the game, regardless of the final score.
  • If the selection is part of a multiple bet, then this selection will be marked down as a ‘win’ on the multiple bet coupon, regardless of the final result.
  • However, in the betting History section, the selection will be marked down as a loss, but will be treated as a winner under the terms of the rules for this promotion.
  • The offer is applicable to bets made on the standard Full Time Result market which is settled on 90 minutes, plus any added time. However, if a game requires extra time or penalties, then this is not included as part of the bet.
  • Bet365 aim to have customers winnings paid into their account within 15 minutes of their backed team going two goals ahead in the game.
  • The offer applies to bets made on either team to win the game. Bets made on the draw selection in the standard Full Time Result market are not part of the offer.
  • Any Enhanced Price markets for the Full Time Result bets are not accepted for this offer.
  • If a customer fully or partly cashes out a qualifying bet, then this offer will not be applied to those bets.
  • If a customer edits the bet and their team goes two goals ahead, then the bet will be settled based on the edited terms for that bet.
  • Any additions to an edited bet slip from In Play betting markets will mean that the offer will no longer apply to your bet.
  • If your bet pays out early, then if your team then goes on to win the match it will not be paid again to you.

How Often Does This Offer Pay Out?

You may feel that this offer is not going to pay out that often, but in actual fact, across the myriad of different competitions that are part of the offer, there are surprisingly regular payouts for one, or even both teams backers.

For example, a couple of weeks back both Derby County and Nottingham Forest took 2-0 leads early in their games against Plymouth Argyle and Bournemouth respectively.

This ensured that backers of Derby and Forest were paid out on their Full Time Result bets, even though both teams went on to lose their respective games by a 3-2 scoreline, which of course meant that backers of Plymouth and Bournemouth also earned a payout too.

Perhaps the most memorable game where this offer paid out was the game between Manchester City and Aston Villa on the final day of the Premier League season where those that had backed an Aston Villa win were paid out when Villa went 2-0 up in the game, only for City to storm back and win 3-2, ensuring City backers were also paid out.

There are many examples you will find of a team taking a two goal lead but then not going on to win the game, so this offer has the potential to be very beneficial for punters over the course of the season.

And best of all, there’s no need to do anything to receive the offer. Simply make a qualifying bet and if you qualify for the bonus, you’ll receive it automatically!
