The Women’s Euro 2025 tournament is on the horizon, and it promises to be one of the most competitive tournaments in its history!
The 2025 Women’s European Championship, to give the tournament its full name, will feature 16 European teams. This includes all the continent’s top women’s teams, who will compete across an initial Group Stage, followed by a knockout tournament in Switzerland this summer.
Sarina Wegmann’s England Lionesses are the current holders of the trophy, having beaten Germany 2-1 at Wembley back in 2021 to win their first major trophy.
However, skipper Leah Williamson and company will face a stern test in what looks like being an incredibly evenly contested Women’s Euro 2025 tournament.
