It’s a fantastic weekend for British sport coming up as not only do some of our top sports stars have important dates with destiny, there are some massive matches to enjoy also in the Premier League and it is the climax of the NFL London Series for this year with the fourth and final game taking place at the traditional home of Rugby Union, Twickenham.

With so many top-quality sporting events taking place it is easy to see why bookies are predicting a bumper weekend when it comes to sports betting and so to give you the heads up of what is available at Coral Sport, we are going to preview and then give you some tips for some of the massive sporting events taking place across the weekend.

We are going to begin with what promises to be an outstanding night of boxing in Cardiff with top of the bill being Anthony Joshua’s defence of his WBA and IBF World Heavyweight titles against Carlos Takam. Let’s take a closer look at what promises to be a big night of boxing in the Welsh capital.

Two Top Heavyweight Clashes to Enjoy This Weekend from CardiffBetStars Boxing UFC Bets

There’s plenty of great boxing to enjoy this coming weekend from Cardiff with Anthony Joshua taking on Carlos Takam (a late replacement for the injured Kybrat Pulev) in his defence of his two World Heavyweight titles.

Joshua is the massive odds on favourite (as short as 1/50 with Coral) to win the bout against his Cameroon born challenger, who has just three defeats in 39 pro fights and has only been stopped once in his career thus far. That said, Takam (12/1 to win the fight) is the IBF mandatory challenger for Joshua, who boasts a perfect 19 wins, 19 by knockout record from his 19 professional fights.

On the undercard of the fight there is also plenty of interest as another British Heavyweight World Champion hopeful Dillian Whyte attempts to take the next step towards a title shot by taking on the massive Finnish/Swedish fighter Robert Helenius. Helenius, like Whyte, has just one defeat in his career and he will fight Whyte for the vacant WBC Silver Heavyweight title, although the victor will likely be looking for a World title fight, possibly against WBC Champion Deontay Wilder, some time in 2018.

Exciting Kal Yafai takes on Sho Ishida of Japan in a WBA World Super-Flyweight bout while the talented Irish boxer Katie Taylor will hope to preserve her unbeaten record as a professional when she takes on Anahi Esther.

Cardiff has seen some big nights of boxing in the past, especially when Joe Calzaghe was in his prime and will Saturday night be another big night of drama in the Welsh Capital. Whatever the outcome, you can enjoy plenty of betting on all the fights taking place that night at Coral Sport.

Can Lewis Hamilton secure his fourth World Driver’s Championship at the F1 Mexico Grand Prix?

After last weekend’s victory in the United States Grand Prix in Austin Texas, Lewis Hamilton has moved onto the brink of the F1 Drivers World Championship after claiming his fifth win in his last six races.

The British Driver was once again the class of the field across the entire weekend in the US and although his rival Sebastian Vettel could mathematically prize the title away from him, it would require a cataclysmic failure from Mercedes and Hamilton, plus three race victories for Vettel to give the German any chance at all.

With Mercedes now confirmed as the constructor’s champions for a third year, their attention will now be focused on letting Hamilton get the points he needs to be confirmed as this year’s World Champion, with two more races of the season still to come.

This week, the teams have moved a short distance south from Texas to Mexico City for the 2017 Mexican Grand Prix. Hamilton is the current 4/5 favourite to win the race, with Vettel a 5/2 chance. Max Verstappen is a 4/1 shot with the only other realistic options being Valtteri Bottas at 10/1, Kimi Raikkonen at 16/1 and Daniel Ricciardo at 20/1.

Unless Sebastian Vettel can finish 17 points ahead of Hamilton in Mexico, then the world title will go to the Englishman and given his current run of form, that prospect looks unlikely.  You can bet on plenty of F1 markets, including qualifying and in-play betting during the race with Coral over the weekend.

Manchester United v Tottenham heads a busy weekend of Premier SkyBet In Play serviceLeague action

Saturday sees the start of a busy weekend for Premier League football this coming weekend and the biggest game of this set of fixtures is also the first of the weekend, with Manchester United (5/4) taking on Tottenham Hotspur (9/4) as second takes on third in the Premier League at Old Trafford.

United come into the game in need of a boost after a dismal 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield last weekend has left them five points behind Manchester City. Spurs however come into this game in a much better frame of mind having smashed Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley, albeit with the help of some calamitous Liverpool defending and goalkeeping.

In addition to this game Arsenal take on Swansea City at the Emirates Stadium, while league leaders Manchester City face a trip to West Brom. Liverpool seek to get back to winning ways at home to Huddersfield Town while Chelsea make a trip south to take on Bournemouth.

As always, you can bet on all these games this weekend across a massive range of markets well over 150 markets available to wager on for all Premier League matches this weekend at Coral Sport.

NFL’s London Series Ends This Weekend as the Cleveland Browns host the Minnesota VikingsBet365 NFL American football

The final game of the four-game London Series is played this weekend at Twickenham as the Cleveland Browns (0-7) welcome the Minnesota Vikings (5-2) in this clash between AFC and NFC teams.

So far in the series, one team has dominated the other, with the Jacksonville Jaguars routing the Baltimore Ravens, the New Orleans Saints smashing the Miami Dolphins and last weekend, the Arizona Cardinals were mauled by the Los Angeles Rams. Given the respective records of both the teams competing on Sunday in London, this game may well follow in the same vein as those that preceded it.

The Browns are showing signs of improvement however as they only lost last weekend in overtime to a fortunate Tennessee Titans, while the Vikings were claiming top spot in the NFC North as they recorded their third victory in a row with a narrow win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Alongside the London game, there is a busy weekend of NFL fixtures to enjoy including big games between Oakland and Buffalo, Chicago and the New Orleans Saints while the most intriguing match up could well be Kansas City hosting Denver on Monday Night (early hours of Tuesday morning UK time).

You can enjoy a wide range of betting on the NFL including plenty of line betting opportunities across the weekend and every weekend of the NFL season at Coral Sports.
