UEFA has appointed Romanian official Istvan Kovacs to officiate the UEFA Champions League Final 2025.
The 40-year-old Romanian will complete a personal treble of refereeing major European finals in the game. He has previously refereed the 2022 UEFA Conference League Final between AS Roma and Feyenoord and the 2024 Europa League Final between Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen.
He has officiated in seven previous Champions League matches this season.
