UK UEFA bets

It’s the FA Cup Fourth Round this weekend across England and that provides us with a great chance to enjoy some accumulator betting with a difference using Coral’s 4+ Acca Boost promotion as the basis for our betting.

Remember, Coral’s 4+ Acca Boost promotion will pay you out an extra 10% on top of your standard winnings for any fourfold or greater qualifying accumulator bet made on football matches. The 10% bonus is paid to you in the form of a free bet, with the maximum amount offered as a free bet bonus being £100.

There are not too many things to remember about this football-based bonus, suffice to say that if you add selections of odds longer than 1/10 (1.10) from just the Match Result, Both Teams to Score or the To Win and Both Teams to Score markets, then your bet should qualify.

Let’s now take a look at the games taking place this weekend in the FA Cup and decide what the accas are that could lead us to landing a decent sized win.

FA Cup Fourth Round Preview

In the last round of the competition, we saw several Premier League sides eliminated by lower league opposition. Stoke City, Bournemouth and most surprisingly, the holders Arsenal, were all beaten by teams from lower divisions and there are a number of fixtures this coming weekend which could also spring a surprise or two.

This weekend’s fixtures are as follows with kick off times 3pm unless stated:

Acca Tips and Strategy

Of course, much depends on the teams picked by managers for the games. If effective reserve teams are selected, the chances of an upset victory become much greater, as was the case with Arsenal in the last round. So, half the battle when selecting matches for our three accumulators this weekend, is deciding whether or not the teams competing will be fielding full strength, or at least near full strength teams.

When managers do this, it can cause havoc with even the most carefully prepared accumulators and tips, so it is always worthwhile waiting until the last minute to place your bet if you can. With teams for each of the matches announced one hour before kick-off, once you have this news, you can then adjust your bets as you see fit based on the actual team selections.

For the purposes of this promotion, we are going to do one accumulator bet for each of the three different betting markets you can bet on with Coral for this promotion, starting with the Match Result (Win/Draw/Win) market.

Our Coral 4+ Acca Boost Match Result Accumulator

  • Sheffield Wednesday v Reading – Home Win
  • Yeovil Town v Manchester United – Away Win
  • Middlesbrough v Brighton – Draw
  • Notts County v Swansea City – Away Win
  • Wigan Athletic v West Ham – Draw
  • Chelsea v Newcastle United – Home Win

Place this bet now with Coral Sport and you will get odds of 61.06/1 on this sixfold accumulator. That means that if you place a £10 bet on the selection, then you would receive back £610.60 in winnings, plus your £10 stake back. In addition, you would also qualify for a free bet worth £61.06 should your bet be a winner.

If those odds are a little too high for you, then you can instead back the following much shorter odds accumulator with Coral on the same Match Winner market.

  • Yeovil Town v Manchester United – Away Win
  • Peterborough Town v Leicester City – Away Win
  • Liverpool v West Brom – Home Win
  • Newport County v Tottenham – Away Win
  • Chelsea v Newcastle – Home Win
  • Cardiff City v Man City – Away Win

A £10 bet on this selection returns at much smaller odds of just 4.97/1, which means you would receive £49.70 in winnings for a successful sixfold bet. This would also see you receive a free bet worth £4.97 should your bet be a winner.

Coral 4+ Acca Boost Both Teams to Score Accumulator

With both teams to score, you are simply betting on whether both teams will score in the selected match (which is the Yes option) or whether one or both teams will not score in the game (which is the No option).  The result of the match is not important. Unlike some bookmakers, Coral allows you to select both options to formulate your accumulator bet and still qualify for their 4+ Acca Boost bonus promotion.

  • Sheffield Wed v Reading – No
  • Southampton v Watford – Yes
  • Huddersfield Town v Birmingham – No
  • Notts County v Swansea City – No
  • Liverpool v West Brom – Yes
  • Chelsea v Newcastle United – No

This Both Teams to Score accumulator with Coral returns at odds of 33.92/1. This means a £10 bet would return £339.20 in winnings and would also generate a free bet worth £33.92 should your bet be a winner.

Coral 4+ Acca Boost Match Result and Both Teams to Score Accumulator

In this bet with Coral, you are betting on which of the two teams will win the match and then also on both teams scoring in the game. There is no option for both teams not to score with this bet, so for a selection to be correct you need to select the correct winning team and have both teams score in the match in question. This obviously produces longer odds choices and of course, the actual size of the odds on this bet can be much greater than other accumulator bets.

  • Southampton v Watford – Home Win
  • Sheffield United v Preston – Home Win
  • Liverpool v West Brom – Home Win
  • Cardiff v Manchester City – Away Win

I have only selected four matches for this bet because that is the minimum amount of selections required to qualify for the 4+ Acca Bonus with Coral. A £10 bet on these four selections would return at odds of 168.19/1. Which means potential returns of £1,681.90 and you would also land the biggest possible Free Bet bonus of £100 should this bet be a winner.
