We are used to seeing fireworks in early November in the UK and this Sunday we are likely to see plenty on the football field at Old Trafford as two of the Premier League’s biggest, bitterest and most long-standing rivals will lock horns once again as Manchester United welcome another London opponent in the shape of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to their home ground for what should be an intriguing Premier League clash.

It is fair to say that both teams have not enjoyed the best of starts to their current Premier League campaign. United lie 15th in the table with seven points from their five games and have picked up just one point from nine available at home this season. Arsenal, after a decent start, have now lost three of their last four games and now face the tricky tark of taking on Manchester United on the road.

There is a long and rich history between Manchester United and Arsenal that goes back to even before the formation of the Premier League and over that time, the fixture has become one of the most eagerly awaited of the season. So if you would like to enjoy a bet on the game and you are wondering where you can sign up to do precisely that, then I would like to point you towards the latst Bet365 Sport New Customer Bonus offer that is currently available.

Team News – Manchester United v Arsenal

After their Champions League game with Red Bull Leipzig in midweek, I can’t see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer making too many changes to his team for this one, barring any players forced out through injury. Provided United play well of course, I would expect him to name a similar team to the one that starts in midweek with the likes of Juan Mata and McTominay continuing in midfield ahead of the likes of Fred and Paul Pogba. I feel Cavani will likely start on the bench once again as he seeks to regain full fitness.

Probable Manchester United Team – (5-3-2) – De Gea, Wan Bissaka, Telles, Maguire, Lindelof,  Tuanzebe, McTominay, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial, Mata

Arsenal are in action in the Europa League on Thursday night although a home game with Dundalk should not extend them too much and I can see Mikel Arteta resting a number of first teamers for that game. However, I expect them to be restored to the starting line up in readiness for Sunday’s game at Old Trafford and that means the Gunners players may be a little more rested in general than United’s starters.

Probable Arsenal Team – (5-3-2) – Leno, Bellerin, Kolasinac, Gabriel, David Luiz, Tierney, Elneny, Xhaka, Partey, Aubameyang, Lacazette

Our Tips for Man Utd v Arsenal

Match Result – Draw – 13/5

Both these sides badly need a win, but I am not sure either will get it here. United’s home form is shocking this season, while Arsenal’s away form of late has not been great. That said defensively I think Arsenal have been better than United this season but I do feel Arsenal’s defence will also concede. When games are this close, I always feel a draw is the sensible option.

Correct Score – Manchester United 2-2 Arsenal – 14/1

Neither side has particularly good form heading into this game and as such, I think both managers will prioritise avoiding defeat over seeking a morale-boosting win. That said with the attacking quality available to both sides, I think we will see goals and as such, I think a decent scoring game is in prospect. Having picked the draw, I think 1-1 is too concservative, so I am going for a 2-2 scoreline.

Anytime Goalscorer – Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) – 7/4

With so many great attacking talents on the pitch, narrowing down that selection to one for the Anytime Goalscorer market is tough but Bruno Fernandes is my choice here. Not only has he scored a huge percentage of United’s goals since signing in the January transfer window last year, but he is also United’s penalty taker and I think that makes him a great choice for this particular bet.
