Potential Match ups to target?

While this offer is likely to come more to the fore in the latter stages of the tournament when players are more evenly matched in terms of ability, there are some interesting first round and second round matches in the Men’s singles competition in particular that could be worthwhile having a punt on with this offer in mind.

One match that catches the eye is Nicolas Mahut against David Ferrer. Mahut is something of a grass court specialist, while Ferrer is ranked considerably higher in the world but is felt to be more of a clay court supremo. Mahut is 5/4 to win the game and Ferrer 4/7, which suggests that this could well be a close match.

Another potential five-set game taking place in the second round comes between the talented Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, who beat Andy Murray at Wimbledon just a couple of years ago, and the very talented Frenchman Gilles Simon.  Dimitrov is even money to win this one, with Simon the 8/11 favourite, but Dimitrov is inspired on grass courts and this should be a close encounter.

Also starting on he 29th is a clash between Nicholas Almagrao, another clay court specialist, against the tricky Denis Istomin, who is a talented player and who will feel he has a very good chance here on one of his preferred surfaces.

This offer is just part of an extensive range of betting options available throughout Wimbledon at BetStars which includes betting on a number of different markets including Set Betting for each individual set, Game Betting and even the opportunity to Bet In Play on a number of live matches every day.
