Bet365 Poker is still offering new players the chance to cash-in with one of the best first-time deposit bonuses in online poker, a 200% match of your first deposit at Bet365 up to $1,000. So for every $1 you deposit on the site Bet365 Poker will match that with $2 of bonus money.
To clear your bonus money at Bet365 you’ll need to accrue Merit Points. For every 1,000 Merit Points you accumulate Bet365 Poker will release $10 of your bonus money, which goes directly into your poker account and can be used any way you see fit.
1,000 Merit Points may seem like a lot, but at Bet365 you receive 15 Merit Points for every $1 in rake you generate (most sites use a 1/1 ratio) so it will only take mid-stakes player about 50-75 hands to clear $10 of bonus money. A multi-tabling grinder could easily clear the entire $1,000 bonus in a couple weeks.
DerekBoogaard wins the $200k Sunday Special
This past weekend’s Sunday Special saw the field size eclipse the 900 player mark (903 to be exact) but that number is still well short of the 1,000 players needed to reach the $200k guarantee Bet365 and the iPoker Network place on their flagship weekly tournament.
This time around it was iPoker regular “DerekBoogaard” who claimed the top spot, collecting the $34,520 first-place prize-money, which was by far the biggest score of his online poker career.

Bet365’s Twitter account is once again running fun contests as you can see by the above tweet. In all, Bet365 posted three different pictures featuring the #Bet365Flashback hash-tag; however, there is no word yet on what the winners will receive.
