Bayer Leverkusen v Atletico Madrid
This looks like being an intriguing clash. Atletico have a fine record in this competition, conceding just two goals in the group stage. Leverkusen are unbeaten winning two and drawing four of their group games. Of all the games being played this week, it is this one which looks like it could trigger Bet365’s Bore Draw Money Back bonus.
As such, I am tempted to have a flutter on the win market here and back Atletico Madrid to win at 11/8, or if you were feeling a little more adventurous, you could back Atletico to win 1-0 in the Correct Score market at 11/2. Manchester City v AS Monaco
Manchester City would do well not to underestimate a Monaco side who are unbeaten in their last six games and who have been scoring goals for fun in Ligue 1, with a +54 goal difference propelling them to the top of the table. City have undeniable quality but their form isn’t quite so strong as their opponents and Monaco do have an alarming tendency to put English sides to the sword in this competition as Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal have both discovered in the past.
Bet365 have Manchester City as the hot favourites to win on Tuesday and while City are at home, it is worth remembering that the last two occasions Monaco have visited England, they have beaten both Arsenal and Tottenham. In terms of value, Monaco are the bet here, but I think City will just do enough to scrape a narrow win, however I do think the French side will score at least one away goal. Hence I am backing Man City to win and both teams to score at 21/10.
Champions League – Wednesday 22nd February
FC Porto v Juventus
Both these teams have the best form of any teams in the competition, having won their last six games heading into this fixture. Despite this, the bookies have Juventus as the favourites to win on the night at 5/4, with Porto a tempting 13/5 given their excellent home record, especially in this competition.
However, this is another game where I think defences will be key and where teams will be cagey not to give too much away before the second leg. I do see this as a low scoring affair and as such, I think the Bore Draw Money Back could come into play here too. As such, I am going to back the draw here which is a good value 9/4 and which means 0-0 or 1-1 results will offer a payout.
Sevilla v Leicester City
This is a very tough ask for a Leicester City side devoid of confidence and struggling in the league. The Foxes have been much better in Europe this season but they face a Sevilla side who are bang in form and that have huge amounts of experience in European competition at this crucial knockout stage.
I’m very confident Sevilla will win this game, as are the bookmakers, but for a little added value I am backing the Handicap selection of a Sevilla win with a -1 goal handicap, which means they need to win by two clear goals. That is an even money shot with Bet365 Sport.

St Etienne showed plenty of quality at Old Trafford but lacked a cutting edge which United made them pay for. United have the Football League Cup Final to consider on Sunday and with a 3-0 lead, the Red Devils are unlikely to go hell for leather for the win here. As such, I think a draw would save some face for the French side and be a perfectly acceptable result for United.
Roma thumped Villarreal in the first leg and I fancy the Italians to complete the job in Rome. I can’t see a shot-shy Villarreal troubling a strong Roma defence, hence the Roma to win both teams to score/no bet is a solid option. After a win in Germany, you have to back Fiorentina to do the same in Florence against Borussia while I think Spurs will bounce back from that shock defeat in Belgium to come through the tie relatively unscathed and 3-0 sounds about right to me if they can show the same form they showed at Fulham in the FA Cup at the weekend.
