Twelve months ago, Bet365 announced the release of its latest casino platform. Ready to stand alongside the pre-existing Bet365 Casino and Bet365 Games, Bet365 Vegas was a genuinely surprising development for the company, given the strength of its existing casino-based products already.
The birth of Bet365 Vegas came after Bet365 announced that they had agreed a deal with Net Entertainment (NetEnt) to bring their slots and other types of casino games to an as yet unnamed Bet365 site.
That site soon developed into Bet365 Vegas and by the summer of 2014, the site was ready to go live.
Bet365 Vegas on release day
There was no great fanfare on release day for Bet365 Vegas, only that many Bet365 customers logged into the Bet365 site and noticed that another name had appeared on the list of sites in the 
Bet365 portfolio.
The site started with a total of 57 games available to play on the site. There were 17 Premium Slots, 20 video slots, 10 table and card games plus 10 more arcade games.
This compared favourably with other newly released sites (such as Sky Casino) which only offered a fraction of this number of games and attractions when it too was launched last year.
All the games on the site were, of course, NetEnt games and some of the best release date games included slots such as Starburst, Robin Hood, Big Bang, Wonk Wabbits, plus the video slots Crime Scene, Mythic Maiden, Secrets of the Stone and Subtopia.
How Bet365 Vegas fits in with the other Bet365 casino sites
At first glance you can look at Bet365’s three different casino sites (Vegas, Casino and Games) and assume that there must be a large overlap between the three in terms of the games offered on them. However, each of the Bet365 sites showcases different developers games which means that you are guaranteed different games on each site.
For example, the new Bet365 Vegas site showcases NetEnt games only, Bet365 Casino brings players the best games from Playtech, whereas Bet365 Games brings together a number of other games from a number of other top providers, such as Microgaming.
It therefore became very clear relatively quickly that Bet365 Vegas would offer something very different to the games you would find on other Bet365 sites and as such, had more than earned its place alongside the other casino sites.
How Bet365 Vegas has developed
Although Bet365 Vegas was released with a decent number of games to play, it was fair to say that compared to Bet365 Games and Bet365 Casino, it was still the poor relation in terms of game numbers. However, NetEnt and Bet365 had promised that over the course of the year they would roll out a number of exciting games onto the Bet365 Vegas platform and so it proved.

There has been no change to the number of arcade and table and card games on offer at Bet365 Vegas over the first year.
Key game additions
As you can see, the number of games available on Bet365 Vegas now has increased from 57 by an additional 14 games, to 71. However it is fair to say that some of these released were fundamental to the long term success of Bet365 Vegas.
Arguably the first big name addition to the game line up was the two South Park games. The original South Park slot and its successor South Park Reel Chaos instantly made Bet365 Vegas popular with fans of the brilliantly observed TV show.
